Ann Hoffpauir

  Growing up in the East Texas countryside gave Ann Hoffpauir a firsthand opportunity to draw and paint horses and many other animals.  Animals, horses in particular, have always been a part of her life.  Cowboys, cowgirls, horse shows and farm and ranch scenes are subjects that she uses in many of her western paintings. The surrounding landscape of farmland to swamp and marshes gives her the opportunity to paint the many varied animals and birds that abound.  Each season, the landscape has its own colors as well as its own uniqueness where she finds inspiration for her work.  She paints primarily in watercolors and oils letting the circumstance surrounding the horses or wildlife to help decide which medium she will use.

  Ann Hoffpauir has been painting professionally for 30 years.  She loves to share her passion for painting and to inspire others.  Ann has had demos and workshops around Texas and Louisiana.  She also has been teaching art classes in her home studio for 20 years.
