Barbara Mason
“My form of communicating with the world is through the expression of art. My goal is to highlight the subtle beauties in life and transform them into an emotional, dramatic, thought provoking, and skillfully executed image. Although, I celebrate 24 years as a professional artist, I am always interested in learning new things, pushing boundaries and breaking old rules! Working in the medical field for over 35 years has taught me to explore, to be open minded and appreciate the smallest of victories in life. Therefore; I am currently exploring techniques which combine in pastel, colored pencil, watercolor, and fiber art that create 3-dimensional artworks that bridge my realistic style with my signature use of bold colors and complex compositions”.
